This study tested whether a ketogenic diet or a Mediterranean diet better helps control hormones and metabolism in people with active acromegaly. Twenty-six adults followed each diet for three weeks. Researchers measured changes in IGF-1 levels, weight, and blood sugar to see which diet works best.
