First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study tests whether a strict ketogenic diet (high fat, low carb) can help people with a new diagnosis of glioblastoma, an aggressive brain cancer, live longer. About 170 participants will be randomly assigned to either the keto diet or standard dietary advice, while all receive usual cancer treatments like chemo and radiation. The diet lasts 18 weeks and is closely monitored by dietitians.
