First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study looks at how a ketogenic diet changes brain activity, metabolism, and mood in adults with bipolar disorder. Researchers will use brain scans and blood tests to understand these effects. The goal is to learn more about the diet's potential benefits, not to test it as a treatment. About 107 people aged 18-40 with bipolar disorder will participate.
