First seen Mar 28, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study tests two treatments—ketamine (a medication) and stellate ganglion blocks (a nerve injection)—alone or together, to see if they can reduce headaches and PTSD symptoms after traumatic brain injury. About 175 adults with long-lasting symptoms will receive either real treatment or a sham (placebo) to compare results. The goal is to find safe, effective options to improve quality of life.
