Summary
This study tested whether Kegel pelvic floor exercises can reduce urinary retention, pain, and improve comfort in people who just had lumbar disc herniation surgery. 58 adults who were immobile for the first 8 hours after surgery participated. The exercises were evaluated using pain scales and symptom checklists.
