New hope for KRAS lung cancer: combo aims to stop recurrence

Summary
This Phase 3 trial tests whether adding the targeted drug calderasib to standard immunotherapy (pembrolizumab) can prevent lung cancer from returning in people with a specific KRAS mutation (G12C) after surgery. About 400 participants will receive either the combination or a placebo plus immunotherapy. The main goal is to see how long they stay cancer-free.
