Summary

This study tested whether a single dose of an experimental drug called KAI-1678 could reduce pain in people with long-term spinal cord injuries. Five participants received either the drug or a placebo in a random order to see which worked better. The main goal was to measure changes in pain intensity six hours after receiving the infusion.
