First seen May 19, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests an experimental drug called JL18008 in people with HIV whose immune systems haven't fully recovered despite standard treatment. About 30 adults will receive either the drug or a placebo as a weekly injection for 4 weeks, while continuing their regular HIV medications. The main goals are to check safety and see if the drug can increase CD4+ immune cells, which help fight infections.
