First seen May 14, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study tested a needle-free jet injection device to numb upper teeth before extraction, aiming to reduce the pain and fear often caused by traditional needles. 80 adults who had previous dental anesthesia received the jet injection with lidocaine, and rated their pain on a scale. The goal was to see if this method is more comfortable and effective for routine tooth removal.
