New pill aims to tame rare blood cancers in early trial

Summary
This study tests an experimental daily pill, JBI-802, in about 30 adults with certain blood cancers (MPN or MDS/MPN) that cause too many platelets. The goal is to check safety and see if the drug can lower platelet counts and shrink the cancer. Participants take the pill for up to 2 years, with regular checkups and tests.
