First seen May 11, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study looks at whether the strength of tongue, lip, and cheek muscles differs in people with a narrow upper jaw compared to those with normal jaw width. Researchers will measure muscle pressures using a special device in 40 participants aged 12 to 25. The goal is to understand how these muscles might contribute to jaw development and improve orthodontic treatment outcomes.
