Summary
This study looks at a protein called JAK2 in the scalps of 25 men with male pattern baldness. Researchers will compare JAK2 levels in balding and non-balding areas, then see if 3 months of minoxidil 5% lotion changes JAK2 in the balding area. The goal is to understand how JAK2 might be involved in hair loss and how minoxidil works.
