First seen Apr 28, 2026 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This observational study looks at whether a specific immune pathway (JAK1/2) is overactive in people with gum disease (periodontitis) compared to those with healthy gums. Researchers will collect gum tissue from 30 adults to measure pathway activation. The goal is to understand the disease better and identify possible targets for future treatments.
