New combo therapy targets tough blood cancers

NCT ID NCT06291987

First seen Nov 05, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This early-phase study tests whether adding ivosidenib to the standard drug ruxolitinib is safe and effective for people with advanced myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPNs) that have an IDH1 mutation. About 18 adults with these rare blood cancers will receive the combination to find the best dose and see how well it controls the disease. The goal is to manage the cancer long-term, not to cure it.
