New drug combo shows promise in High-Risk cervical cancer trial

Summary
This study tests whether adding the drug ivonescimab to standard chemotherapy before chemoradiotherapy can help control high-risk cervical cancer that has spread locally. About 42 women with stage III to IVA cervical cancer will receive two cycles of the combination, then standard treatment. The goal is to see if this approach delays cancer progression and improves response rates.
