New hope for ITP patients: IVIG trial aims to boost platelets

Summary
This study tests a medicine called human immunoglobulin (5% IVIG) in adults with chronic immune thrombocytopenia (ITP), a condition where the immune system destroys platelets, causing bleeding. The treatment is given through a vein for 5 days. The main goal is to see if it can raise platelet counts within a week and reduce bleeding. About 36 participants will be enrolled at centers in Turkey.
