Back pain breakthrough? study tests two exercise methods Head-to-Head

NCT ID NCT07382232

Summary

This study compared two different exercise programs to see which works better for chronic low back pain. Sixty adults with persistent back pain were randomly assigned to either isometric (holding) exercises or isotonic (moving) exercises, both combined with heat therapy and electrical nerve stimulation. Researchers measured participants' pain levels, disability, and core strength before and after the four-week program to determine which approach provided better relief.
