Summary
This early-stage trial is testing the safety and initial effectiveness of an experimental injection of insulin-producing cells (islet cells) for people with type 1 diabetes. It will involve 10 adult participants who have a history of severe low blood sugar events. The main goals are to see if the treatment is safe and if it can help patients achieve better blood sugar control without severe lows.
