Summary
This study looked at three methods for cleaning large tooth infections during root canal treatment: manual agitation, ultrasound, and a laser-activated technique. 97 adults with infected single-root teeth were treated and followed for one year. The goal was to see which method helped the infection heal best by measuring changes in the size of the infection on 3D scans.
