First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study looks at whether taking iron supplements every other day causes fewer stomach problems than taking them daily in pregnant women. About 50 pregnant women who need iron will try an alternate-day schedule first, then switch to daily, and report any side effects. The goal is to find a more tolerable way to prevent anemia during pregnancy.
