First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 33 times
Summary
This study looks at a procedure called irreversible electroporation (IRE) for people with liver cancer that hasn't spread. IRE uses electrical pulses to destroy tumor cells without cutting into the liver. The study will include 50 adults with good liver function and up to 3 small tumors. The main goal is to see if the tumors are completely gone 6 months after the procedure.
