New drug iptacopan tested to see if it repairs kidney damage in rare disease

Summary
This study looks at how iptacopan affects the kidneys of 20 adults with IgA nephropathy, a kidney disease. Researchers will measure changes in kidney tissue and function over 9 months. The goal is to understand if the drug reduces immune system activity in the kidneys.
