First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study looked at 21 adults with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) to see how well a simple arm exercise test (6-minute pegboard and ring test) relates to other measures of physical ability, fatigue, daily activities, and quality of life. Participants performed several tests including walking, sitting and standing, and lifting bars. The goal was to understand if the pegboard test can help predict how IPF affects everyday life.
