Summary
This early-phase study tests an oral drug called ropidoxuridine (IPdR) in people with advanced gastrointestinal cancers that cannot be cured. The goal is to find the safest dose and see if it makes tumor cells more sensitive to radiation therapy. Nineteen participants with cancers of the esophagus, stomach, liver, pancreas, bile duct, colon, or rectum are enrolled.
