First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study is observing how well the Ion endoluminal system works for taking samples from lung nodules in everyday medical practice. About 1,200 adults across Europe who are scheduled for a lung biopsy or localization procedure using the Ion system will take part. The main goal is to measure how often the biopsy gives a clear diagnosis, and researchers will also track any complications like air leaks or bleeding.
