First seen Jan 23, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study tests whether injecting adalimumab (an anti-inflammatory drug) directly into the eye can help preserve vision in people with retinitis pigmentosa or a related condition called EMAP. Thirty adults will receive three injections over four months, and researchers will measure changes in visual field and sharpness after six months. The goal is to see if the treatment is safe and can slow disease progression.
