First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study looked at whether flushing the womb with a low dose of the hormone hCG right after egg retrieval could improve pregnancy rates in women undergoing ICSI (a type of IVF). Researchers measured immune markers and womb blood flow in 90 infertile women. The goal was to see if this simple procedure could make the womb more receptive to an embryo.
