New hope for rare appendix cancer: chemotherapy delivered straight to the belly

Summary

This study tests a chemotherapy drug called paclitaxel, given directly into the abdominal cavity, for people with appendix cancer that has spread. The goal is to find the safest dose and check for side effects. About 39 adults with advanced disease who cannot have surgery will take part.
