Summary

This study tested whether giving a fat solution (intralipid) through a vein can reverse the effects of spinal anesthesia in people having day surgery. Two hundred adults scheduled for short procedures under spinal anesthesia took part. Researchers measured how quickly motor function returned and when patients were ready to go home.
