First seen May 18, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study tested a 12-week internet-based program for people with COPD who just finished in-hospital rehab. The program used a smartphone app to track activity, provide exercise plans, and offer online lessons, plus regular calls with a therapist. Researchers wanted to see if patients found it helpful and easy to use. 48 people took part, and the goal was to help them stay active and manage their condition at home.
