NCT ID NCT06766747

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 34 times

Summary

This study tested if intermittent fasting (the 5:2 diet) helps people who gained weight back after bariatric surgery lose more weight than a standard low-calorie diet. Sixteen adults who had surgery at least a year ago and regained weight took part. Both groups followed their eating plan for 12 weeks, and researchers measured weight, body fat, and other health markers.
