Fasting during immunotherapy: a new way to boost treatment?

NCT ID NCT07645742

First seen Jun 12, 2026 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026

Summary

This study looks at whether intermittent fasting is safe and doable for people with advanced solid tumors who are starting immunotherapy. About 90 participants will be split into three groups: no fasting, eating only during an 8-hour window each day, or fasting every other day. Researchers will track how well people stick to the diet, side effects, fatigue, sleep, and quality of life over about 20-24 weeks.
