Summary
This study compares standard Western medicine alone to a combination of Western and traditional Chinese medicine (including acupuncture) for treating sudden hearing loss. Researchers aim to see if the combined approach improves hearing, reduces tinnitus and dizziness, and enhances quality of life. The trial enrolls 64 adults who have experienced sudden hearing loss within the past two weeks.
