New group therapy aims to heal earthquake Survivors' hidden wounds

This study tested a group therapy program called Integrated Grief Therapy for adults who survived the February 2023 earthquake in Türkiye. 190 participants were split into two groups: one received the 8-session therapy, while the other continued with standard support. The therapy focused on helping people process grief, express emotions, and find meaning after loss. Researchers measured changes in resilience, stress, and grief symptoms to see if the program improved well-being.
