New shot before chemo may boost breast cancer cure rates

Summary
This study tests if injecting the drug INT230-6 into breast tumors before standard chemotherapy and immunotherapy can help eliminate all cancer in the breast and lymph nodes. About 61 people with early triple-negative breast cancer (a fast-growing type) will be randomly assigned to receive INT230-6 plus standard treatment or standard treatment alone. The goal is to see if this approach leads to a higher rate of complete response at the time of surgery.
