NCT ID NCT07561086
First seen May 09, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tested a new tool—a visual injection site map—to help people with diabetes rotate their insulin injection spots properly. 170 adults who had been on insulin for at least six months took part. Half received the map and instructions, while the other half got standard verbal advice. The goal was to see if the map reduced lipohypertrophy (lumpy fatty tissue) and improved blood sugar levels over six months.
