Summary
This study tested whether automatic notifications from a Fitbit about exercise, sleep, and eating could improve thinking and muscle mass in adults over 65. About 355 older adults in Japan wore a Fitbit for 6 months and received personalized tips, while a control group got usual care. Researchers compared cognitive tests and muscle measurements to see if the reminders made a difference.
