First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding injectable platelet-rich fibrin (i-PRF) to a standard bone graft helps repair deep gum defects caused by periodontitis. Sixteen adults with stage III gum disease will receive either the combination treatment or the graft alone. The goal is to see if the i-PRF improves bone fill and gum attachment over six months.
