Breathing treatment tested to stop fatal lung bleeds in critically ill cancer patients

Summary
This study is testing whether inhaling a medication called tranexamic acid can help stop dangerous lung bleeding in cancer patients who are on breathing machines. The main goal is to see if this treatment helps more patients survive the first month compared to standard care. Researchers will enroll 60 adult cancer patients with severe lung bleeding who are in intensive care on ventilators.
