NCT ID NCT06880835

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 14, 2026 · Updated 32 times

Summary

This study looks at whether inhaled insulin (Afrezza) is safer than standard pump insulin for preventing low blood sugar during exercise after a meal. About 30 adults with type 1 diabetes who use a Tandem pump with Control-IQ will complete three exercise sessions in a clinic. The goal is to see if the inhaled insulin leads to fewer dangerous drops in blood sugar.
