First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This early-stage study tests an inhaled form of fentanyl, a strong painkiller, for cancer patients. About 100 adults with malignant tumors will receive the inhaled spray and an IV injection at different times to compare how the drug moves through the body and its safety. The goal is to see if the inhaled version can provide quick and effective pain relief.
