New inhaler aims to keep kids breathing safely during surgery

Summary
This study tests if inhaling a drug called penehyclidine hydrochloride can prevent breathing problems in children aged 3 to 7 who are at risk during minor eye surgery. The drug is given before anesthesia to reduce complications like coughing, airway blockage, or spasms. 204 children will take part to see if it works better than a placebo.
