First seen Feb 03, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study tests whether giving patients an information sheet during a doctor's visit for a sore throat, sinus infection, or bronchitis can reduce antibiotic prescribing. About 1,144 adults in Danish general practices will either receive the sheet or usual care. The goal is to see if the sheets help doctors prescribe fewer antibiotics while improving communication with patients.
