Summary
This study involved 33 healthy adults aged 18 to 55 who were given different doses of a new influenza A H3N2 virus strain. The goal was to find a dose that is safe and causes infection in at least 40% of people, so this strain can be used in future vaccine studies. Participants were monitored for side effects and infection for up to 28 days.
