Summary
This study aims to understand why people with myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS), a type of blood cancer, are more likely to develop heart disease or stroke. Researchers will measure inflammation-related proteins in the blood of 30 adults with MDS over 6 months to see if these markers can predict heart problems. The goal is to find better ways to detect and manage heart disease risk in MDS patients.
