First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a gluten-free diet can reduce inflammatory back pain in people with celiac disease or non-celiac gluten sensitivity. Fifty adults will either receive standard back pain treatment alone or standard treatment plus a gluten-free diet for one year. Researchers will measure pain levels and immune markers to see if removing gluten makes a difference.
