First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study looks at how congenital hypothyroidism (a thyroid condition present at birth) affects motor skills, sensory processing, and brain development in infants aged 6 to 18 months. Researchers will assess 40 infants who have been on treatment since birth using standardized tests. The goal is to better understand early developmental challenges, not to test a new treatment.
