Scientists map baby brains to predict recovery from birth strokes
NCT ID NCT05013736
Summary
This study aims to understand how an infant's brain develops and recovers after a stroke that happens around the time of birth. Researchers will follow 65 infants for two years, using safe brain scans and movement assessments during natural sleep. The goal is to find early signs that predict how well a child might recover, which could help guide future treatments.
