First patients to test experimental cancer drug in major safety trial

Summary

This is the first human study of an experimental drug called INCA036873, designed to test its safety and side effects in people with advanced cancers. The trial will enroll 280 adults with specific types of solid tumors or blood cancers that have worsened despite prior treatments. Researchers will give participants increasing doses of the drug to find the highest amount that is safe and tolerable, while also checking how the body processes it.
