In-body CAR-T shot aims to revolutionize blood cancer treatment
NCT ID NCT07362602
First seen Jan 31, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This early-phase study tests a new approach to CAR-T therapy for B-cell blood cancers like lymphoma and leukemia. Instead of removing and modifying cells in a lab, the treatment delivers mRNA wrapped in fat particles directly into the body to reprogram immune cells. The goal is to make this powerful therapy safer, cheaper, and faster to access. About 47 adults aged 18-70 with certain blood cancers will participate.
